3. Periareolar- The incision is made around the nipple
4. Transumbilical- The incision is made above the belly button. 

• A tissue expander is used to create the space between the muscles and tissues of the breast and the chest where the implant will be placed.
• There are different types of implants available. The two most popular ones are saline and silicone implants. Silicone implants come pre-filled, but saline implants are inserted empty and then inflated with sterile saline solution. 
• After the implants have been placed, the surgeon uses dissolvable or traditional stitches to close the incision. A dressing is applied to secure it in place.
• The patient may be asked to wear a surgical bra after the procedure during the healing period.
